The Division of General, Geriatric, and Palliative Medicine at the University of Virginia seeks a part-time podiatrist to provide non-surgical foot and ankle care in an academic general medicine outpatient clinic. Located in Charlottesville, VA, University Medical Associates serves as the continuity practice for all 100 Department of Medicine (DOM) medical residents. UMA’s mission is to provide excellent and compassionate care to all, especially those who cannot access care elsewhere. And to provide exceptional training in ambulatory medicine for the future healthcare workforce.

Qualifications
The part-time podiatrist will provide patients with diagnostic, preventive, and therapeutic podiatric services, including minor procedures up to four weekly sessions. Clinical sessions are conducted from 8:00 to 12:00 and 1:00 to 5:00. Candidates must have a DPM, be licensed to practice in Virginia, and have two or more years of experience in an outpatient podiatry practice.
