Candidate Qualifications
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM)
- Completion of a three-year podiatric surgical residency
- Virginia license or eligibility to obtain Virginia licensure
- DEA registration or eligibility
- Board Certified or Board Eligible preferred
- ABPS certification is a plus, but not required
- Strong clinical and surgical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable managing a busy clinical schedule
- Willingness to participate in hospital call
- Wound-care interest or experience is a plus
